A Few Simple Rules

These are just a few rules about posting here.  I want to make this an encouraging space for people to put their writings, and that means making sure that we stay respectful.

1. Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome, but viciousness and hateful comments are not.  Be polite, but honest.  I will moderate as I see fit, but try to think about what you're saying when it comes to people's work before you say it.
2. If you are overly sensitive about your work, and do not handle constructive criticism well, then don't post it.  Feedback is great, but only if you're willing to accept ALL feedback, not just the good kind.
3. There are two ways to share your work. You can email me your work and I'll do a blog post and credit it to to your name (or username, whichever you prefer) or you can post it in the comments of another of my posts.  I will never take credit for your work.  
4. If you ever see something of yours on this blog that hasn't been credited to you, please let me know!  It may have just been an oversight on my part or whomever posted it might not have known who the original owner of the work was.  The intent is not to steal anything and I will always give credit where it is due.
5. Don't take credit for something that isn't yours.  If this is to be a place of sharing ideas and work, we have to respect those ideas and work.  Only take credit for the things that you've written yourself.
6. At the end of the day, I make all final decisions.  I will try to be fair in all of my dealing and decisions, and if you don't like it, you have every right to no longer frequent this blog, but I'm going to do what I believe is most fair to the group as a whole, not you as the individual.

As long as everyone is respectful, we should be just fine. :)
